How to Stop

A final meter reading, taken by Boone Electric, is required on the date disconnection is specified. Any deposits made will be applied to your account to determine your final amount due or refund. Disconnect orders must be made at least one business day prior to the date for service to be discontinued. You will need to call Boone Electric Cooperative at 573-449-4181 or stop by the office to disconnect electric service.

Service is billed quarterly at $54 ($18 per month) and picked up on Mondays. Use bags or cans. If using cans 35 gal or larger, bags must be used but can be placed inside of the can. Pricing may vary, so call their office to check.
